Celtic linked with moves for Republic of Ireland international and nine-goal forward
Crystal Palace midfielder James McCarthy has been linked with a move to his boyhood heroes having come through the youth system at Hamilton Accies and spent time at Wigan and Everton before moving to Selhurst Park in 2019.
The 30-year-old has 42 caps for his country but has played just eight times for the Eagles this season and is out of contract in the summer. However, he has plenty of suitors with Bournemouth, Brighton, Burnley, West Brom, and West Ham all keen to add the Glasgow-born player to their ranks.
