THERE could be a second Celtic Park after it was reported in a French newspaper that Rennes are considering giving their ground the same title as the home of the Scottish champions.

Free daily paper 20 minutes have stated the Ligue 1 side will give fans the choice of voting for one of a few options, including Roazhon (Rennes) Park, Roazhon Hermines and Roazhon Celtic Park.

Rennes’ ground is currently named the Stade Route de Lorient. However, it will be revamped this summer and the club would like to grant it a new title to mark the occasion.

The reason for the name being put forward is the connection between the Celtic cross and Brittany, the region of France where Rennes is situated.

So, sadly, it’s not because they were particularly big admirers of Henrik Larsson.
