Goalkeeper Neil Alexander to leave Hearts
The 38-year-old has been the Jambos’ No.1 since he arrived at the club in the summer of 2014, playing a key part in the club’s promotion back to the Premiership.
However, Alexander – who also doubles up as the goalkeeping coach – won’t be at Tynecastle next season after head coach Robbie Neilson decided to pursue other options for Hearts’ No.1 spot.

“We’ll now look to bring in another goalkeeper as part of our summer recruitment.
“We wish Neil all the best in the future.”
Alexander played 72 times during his spell in Gorgie.
