RONNY Deila wants to make permanent signings in January and not lose star player Kris Commons, Celtic chief Peter Lawwell picked up £1 million in wages and bonuses, and Dave King’s attempt to take over Rangers is approved by a former Celtic star.

Deila confident of keeping Commons

Celtic manager Ronny Deila doesn’t want to lose another top player amid rumours of Neil Lennon’s interest in bringing Kris Commons to Bolton. The attacker is out of contract next summer, but Deila insists Celtic are in “good control” of the situation. (The Herald)

Writing in his column, the former Scotland international stated his opinion that King would have the club challenging for the Scottish Premiership next season after bringing the likes of Walter Smith back to Ibrox.
