SPL fanzone: Kilmarnock

Well, it was transfer deadline day with a difference at the Parc de Pies and it was great not to be losing our best players with minutes to go for a change! The majority of the traffic was heading inbound as Kenny Shiels attempted to balance his squad.

There were a few strange moves, none more so than the “release” of new signing Patrick Ada, who spent the day down in England looking for a new club. Apparently, there was a clause in his deal that meant he could leave if things were not working out but he seems to be a decent prospect so we can only surmise Shiels let him leave because he needed the wages for another signing. By all accounts that is Dutch central defender Mark de Man. However, with no news from the club is seems like Ada did not get a deal elsewhere and is still with us. De Man is still not signed but he is out of contract and still free to join.
