Golf: Hickory shock

ORGANISERS have made a radical rule change for the forthcoming World Hickory Open Festival - by allowing competitors to play with modern clubs.

The event, which takes place on 20-24 September, is being played at Musselburgh Old, Craigielaw, Archerfield and Gullane 2 and 3 and chairman Lionel Freedman is keen to fill the remaining few places on the first three days.
