School sport: Girls get nod for Four Nations tournament

FOOTBALL: The Scotland Under-15 girls' squad for upcoming matches has been named.

The 18-strong party will travel to Cardiff in early April to compete in the annual Four Nations tournament along with Wales, the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland.

On their return, the squad will make history as the first Scotland side to face England in an under-15 girls' international.

Hawick High School lead the way with two players selected in the shape of Lauren MacKenzie and Carly Noble.
